To all our friends
Be greeted in the matchless name of Jesus Christ our Saviour and soon coming King. This is a report on the work Beacon of Hope7 has done in Graaff Reinet, Eastern Cape.
A commissioning service was held on Sunday 20 April 2013 at Kraaifontein AOG to commission the 7th team of Beacon of Hope7 for ministry in the Eastern Cape. The keynote speaker at this event was Izel Lutz, Campus Director of GST Western Cape and the commissioning was done by ps. Humphry Joseph. The service was well in attendance with seating filled to 90% of churches capacity and the atmosphere was filled with a prophetic anointing. Each missionary received a prophetic word from the Lord and each individual could confirm the word as in season for him or her. Many were moved by the Lord Himself to get involved in the last day ingathering and some even booked their place to go with Beacon of Hope7 to Colesburg, Northern Cape, in September 2013.
A team of 7 left for Graaff Reinet on Friday, 25 April and arrived safely early the next morning. Whiles being in Graaff Reinet, Beacon of Hope7 was under the covering of the Graaff Reinet AOG church where Pastor Enoch Lomberg is the residing minister. Ministry started the Sunday morning. The church received a word about the Kingdom of God; many healings took place; a prophetic word was given to a senior pastor: “I am giving you a new assignment”. Without my knowledge at the time of this prophetic word this senior pastor was broken and his ministry dormant for many seasons.
Even though only 2 sermons were on the Kingdom of God, yet throughout the week on the lips of the people were the phrase the Kingdom of God. One of the people who made a commitment to become a citizen of God’s Kingdom was a Sangoma. My wife was standing behind this woman and experienced a severe headache. It was only after the service that she understood the origin of her headache. Headaches are a familiar experience by believers when they encounter witchcraft. Every evening people got healed. A man came into one of the services with crutches and left without having to use it again. Many people were delivered from the bondage of witchcraft.
The team prayed in many homes on our door to door evangelism program. Ministry was done to the woman as well as to the children of the community and a Kingdom Leadership seminar was held which was very good attended. We even had the opportunity to pray and prophesy to the honorable Mayor of Graaff Reinet.
Our next missions’ trip will be to Colesburg, Northern Cape from 20-29 September 2013. The church we planted in the West Coast is known as Bethesda AOG Moorreesburg and is also growing well under the grace of God under the leadership of Pastor Christopher Maans.
Please keep us in your prayers that many more doors will open for our ministry.
Yours in the Masters’ service
Pastor Terence Europa
